State Inspection, Schmate inschmection!

Apparently my tags expired for my state inspection, which I am not use to having to do (for I legally reside in California), and the Military Police informed me that I can not be driving and shouldn’t be on the road until I have new tags.

I did some research and found out it costs $16 for an inspection, which isn’t bad, and the first thing that came to mind was “Damn, can this state do anything else to squeeze the money from everyone’s pocket?”

I had to park in visitor parking in a nearby apartment complex and walk in 38 degree weather onto base. What an adventure!
